Homes on Old Ocean Boulevard and Ocean Avenue get spray on any day with an east wind, and the glass on the water side will haze over in a few weeks. The inlet at the north end adds its own mist, and homes on Inlet Cay and Sabal Island get it from the Intracoastal as well.
Briny Breezes has the same salt on a smaller scale. The homes there are close together and low, so the ocean side gets the spray and the Intracoastal side gets the sprinkler spots and the pollen from the sea grapes and palms. The jalousie and awning windows common in the older homes have a lot of edges for salt to collect in.

How often should windows be cleaned in Ocean Ridge?

Can you remove hard water spots from sprinklers?
In most cases, yes. Mineral spots from sprinkler overspray need a dedicated treatment rather than regular cleaning. Tell us about them on the quote form and we will look at them on the first visit.
